Shaming men was put to devastating use with the White Feather brigade.
White Feathers and Wounded Men: Female Patriotism and the Memory of the Great War.
The 'White Feather Girls': women's militarism in the UK.
Currently on Facebook there is a plethora of feminist posts aimed at shaming men. Their response when a male makes a comment they target the feelings saying (fragile) or "hurt feelngs, or being too sensitive.
Don't challenge them! Make it clear that you are not against Women but Feminism. Then direct them to: Casey Jaye (she explains it well here) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WMuzhQXJoY
Can't remember the name they were using; however, they were claiming that men were responsible for 90% of child abuse.
Having previously investigated this highly emotive, erroneous piece of misinformation, I had the data and the references at hand.
I should have used this at the beginning, instead I wrote that statistically the most dangerous place for a child was with its mother and her boyfriend.
The personal attacks were the first thing they used to defend their position. Learning not to respond to those attacks can be a challenge.
Then I was accused of "Blaming women" so I pointed out how now they were playing the victim.
When I finally used the data and references I went to visit the page a day later and they had deleted it.
This is an excellent discussion. I would make one observation, once women left the "safe" enclave of the family and demanded the rights of men in the wider society, they knowingly and steadfastly refused to take on the responsibilities that went with those rights AND felt free to ignore the responsibilities that had gone with the traditional female role. As such, this is not nearly the benign failure to perceive that the family was a "protected" space that women felt should be extended. Women simply decided they wanted all the rights of society with none of the obligations regardless of whether they are in the home or in the wider society. Men, however, were expected to give up the rights of both home and society while being assigned all the responsibility and being shamed by women for failing to do what women wanted while women have been absolved of all shame for their actions. Here is an example:
Women claim it is the duty of men to stop sexual harassment by other men, even if that causes harm to themselves. Men must especially prevent "passing the harasser" by acting to stop someone who is known to be a harasser in one situation from moving into another (employers for example). If, however, a man points out that for such a system to work, women must report harassers and also take steps to prevent passing the harasser, the man will be attacked for being insensitive to women for suggesting that the woman has an obligation to report her own harasser and that he is shaming and harassing the woman for pointing out that a woman who fails to report her harasser and then writes recommendation letters for the harasser to get the next job is not only enabling that harassment but is legally culpable for a share of the harassment that occurs in the next work place that she wrote the recommendation for. (A person who writes a letter of recommendation and fails to report a negative quality of the applicant known to them is legally responsible for "duping" the prospective employer by the inaccurate recommendation.)
The practical reality that failure to report harassment prevents others from acting on that information is ignored in defense of women's belief that they should never have to be accountable or feel shame for their actions even when the same action by a man would be a cause of immediate shame and denunciation. Women complain that men don't listen to their complaints but fail to ask WHY that might be.
What is the solution? Time to stop coddling women in both society and the home by demanding immediate and full accountability, use of the same public shaming of the woman AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT HER when committing shameful acts. It is also required that women be forced to stand alone when they engage in misconduct and fail to take responsibility for it.
Fascinating and beautifully flowing discussion - thank you all. I’ll be watching it more than once. The clear description of archetypes and how and why they feel so “right” was just one “keyclick” moment.
I was blown away when I first heard of the matrisensus concept some years ago - and how right David Shackleton was that there needed to be a word to describe the unspoken. I’m delighted to see that he has put what sounds a lifetime of labour into a book, which I’ve ordered today and look forward to reading.
I loved ❤️ you for years, Janice (since 2018)…but I’m vey happy the USA defeated Canada. Don’t be upset with me… I’ll always love ❤️ you. Since we’re expecting 2 feet of snow here in NYC, I’ll be celebrating at home. 🇺🇸❤️✝️🙏🏒🥅
When Janice said women will have to take responsibility, I have my doubts that this will collectively happen. Women's responsibility deflectors are strong, they have been (evolutionary?) been trained to deflect responsibility in order to preserve their own lives. What do you think, Tom?
Most women are never going to take responsibility voluntarily (unless they are unusually well brought up and/or sincerely religious). They will have to be held accountable.
It's easier said than done, for sure. We would have to change the whole culture so that women stopped getting a pass for their bad behavior and victim claims. Judges and juries would have to start holding women to the same moral and legal standards that we hold men when they commit crimes. Female politicians would have to be booted from office the moment they cried in public to excuse themselves for some failure. Women who make false allegations would have to be held up to public shame and ignominy. And so on. But there is no 'we' as yet, and no guarantee it will form. But it might.
Brilliant! I wish there was some way to break the wall of fantasy and hysteria that keeps most people from seeing how OBVIOUS all of this is. Feminist ‘scholarship’ is absolutely bereft of ANY intellectual integrity and unsupported by ANY competent research. Even as dogmatic propaganda it's laughably incoherent. I think it may actually be designed to elicit ridicule so that criticism can automatically be dismissed as ‘cruel misogyny’. If someone ever wrote a book called ‘Feminism For Complete Idiots’ it would be over the heads of most Women's & Gender Studies Professors, who can barely keep up with the political correctness of what they can and can't even discuss.
What's sexist? EVERYTHING! That's all you really need to know. Even TERFs don't seem to be able to grasp the fact that trans ideology came directly out of the radical feminist ideology which they still adhere to in every other way. They want us all to believe that transsexuality is nothing more than men wanting to invade women's spaces. I take perverse pleasure in winding them up by saying I'm in favor of biological men using female restrooms and locker rooms because we don't want those freaks in OUR private spaces. either. They never have anything at all to say about biological women invading men's private spaces, and ignore the subject of FTMs entirely. The same people would probably call it misogyny if we tried to throw them out of our showers and toilets and call us pussies if we complained that it was creepy and uncomfortable, just like they do.
Eagerly awaiting that. You are a largely unsung heroine of masculinity. I can't possibly express how important your work is my own sense of value to humanity. I cherish my manhood because of women like you who still value it. It's not a small thing, and I hope you know that you give men hope when all around them things seems dark and pointless.
Janice kicks it off at about 23:34 minutes and then asks David to say something at about 25:45 minutes. Warren speaks. Then, David says what I think is important. That shame attacks who you are, not what you have done!
29:33
[DAVID SHACKLETON SHAME] And so it's, you know, I should probably define shame. Um,
29:39
shame is an attack on who you are as a person. Not what you've done, but who you are. Guilt is about what you've
29:46
done, right? But shame is that you are flawed as a person, right?
29:52
And that's what we see in coming out of these various identity movements all the
29:58
time. We don't see attacks on what people have done. We see words of shame.
30:04
So, we call people are called misogynist. Well, that's who you are. It's not it's
30:09
not about what you've done. It's about who you are. or you're racist or you're sexist or you're a homophobe or you're
30:15
an Islamophobe or you're all of these are shame attacks. And of course with a
30:20
shame attack um you can't defend yourself by saying
30:25
well I've done good things.
I hope I have the courage to say (next time men are put down), "can you tell me some good things that men have done?"
The shame mechanism is installed in early childhood.
Add years of institutional schooling and consistent shaming, while girls are fed “sugar and spice” narratives plus endless validation and ego inflation on social media for typical female behavior — and the result is today’s societal rot.
It all operates subconsciously through state-dependent and procedural memory.
You cannot escape or change what you’re not even aware of.
All that remains is reaction, not proactive action on your own behalf.
Janice, I have been asked to make a submission to the house of commons on Bill C-223. I reached out to an old 613 number for you a couple weeks ago. Would love to connect. It would seem it’s time to light up the Red Pill network in Canada again
I'd love to get all your thoughts on the latest Danielle Fishel teen beat podcast episode—her and Nicole Byer come off as massively hypocritical man-haters, especially after she spends so much time on her other show complaining about made-up "women's issues."
As a" Humanist for social progress"I want to help; but I was victm of fraud with my credit card. My bank proposes "e cartes" for 1 only payment with anonymous numbers. but I can't use it to subscribe. can you help me ?

They are bullies and are the first to call out males who even come close to looking like a bully. We need to label them. The truth needs no prop.
Still looking for the most articulate way of challenging them. It looks like I am getting likes from blokes and hate from the women.

Success, got a page deleted on F/B.
please share what type of page it was Philip :)

Men are (mostly) good :-)
Thanks for the positive feedback. Agree that the concept is one that needs to be understood and mainstreamed. It explains quite a bit.
Mostly! lol
I have been waitng for this book to appear.
Wonderful conversation, thanks all...

I was cheering for the USA, though I was sad that Connor McDavid didn't get a winning goal.

Keep up the good work, all of you.
Utterly agreed, of course. I have a chapter on the trans hypocrisies in my new book, which is almost finished and will, I hope, be out this summer!

I found the talk about 'shame' really important.
