Bias Against Women in Exercise Research?

um, no.

Janice Fiamengo and Tom interview researcher Jim Nuzzo on his work to clarify the issue of women being less likely to take part in exercise research. A study originally published by Costello in 2014 had left readers with the sense that women were somehow victims of exercise science since they tended to avoid research studies. What Costello failed to do was to look closely at the reasons WHY women stayed away. Jim Nuzzo has a close look at these reasons and comes to important conclusions about this issue.
