It is a whole different World outside of the “FEMISHPERE”! One must exercise caution, however. As Mr. Brule said, there are con artists and nefarious types who lay in wait. There are also a lot of nice women who think your grey chest hair is wonderful!
It is a beacon of health and wisdom to have survived so long in this World; especially one increasingly governed by the Gorgons and their Minions. We may or may not have achieved wealth or fame, but we have run the gauntlet.

Recently found out that a former fishing buddy
had died suddenly. We’d had a falling out due to political views. Suffice to say his platform was everything that gives the Liberal side a bad name these days; he was an ardent Feminist. He would have been a “Super Vaxxer”. - first in line. I hold a MASTER’S in Chinese Medicine and have a “good head” for medicine in general.
As well, I survived the far more virulent SARS Covid-1 in China, using herbal anti-inflamitories I’d found in the shelf of the English Teacher’s apartment. The mRNA Vaccines troubled me from day one; I’d have advised him against it.
He just up and dropped dead this past Autumn.
A robust constitution and only 61 years old. No drug use, happy nuclear family background.
His lack of wisdom and insight cut him down early. Via Con Dios, John. Be a wiser man next time!
Thankyou to Steve for all the advice. It seems to add up to: life is better and cheaper, if you are sensible and don’t rush into things at the start. As with anywhere, a man with money is a “target”. At least society isn’t your main enemy!
As an Aussie my preferred option is the Philippines, so I’d very much like to get that episode.
I’ve visited the Philippines once, for a holiday. There was much to like, however the downside was feeling very “conspicuous” everywhere I went, eg. a crowded shopping mall, simply because of my size amongst the small Pilipinos.
Paul, I guess you feel that everywhere!
So, any comments on that would be welcome! Steve, I am guessing that in the DR a white man isn’t conspicuous for his size?
ps. In the Philippines I had a conversation with a small business owner who told me that his main frustration was with “corruption”. To get anything done in the Philippines you have to keep handing out kickbacks. Comments on that welcome!
The background for this business owner is of some relevance to the discussion.
He was a German emigre running a dive shop on Boracay Island, a premier "resort" in the Philippines, for both wealthy Philippinos and foreigners. He'd been there decades, in a de-facto with German woman. His business and life were very successful, and he was able to use cheap Philippino labor to run the business from the front bar of his shop and cafe. Monsoon season was all holiday. The couple had fled East Germany under communism, and obviously made a great choice. His only gripe about the Philippines was "corruption".
My aim is similar - to have a business for wealthy people, native (Philippino, Dominisan, etc..) and foreigners, which would be resilient to economic trends. And then to "survive" in the adopted country. Wealth and a cushy lifestyle would be nice, but I'll settle for survival.

Exactly Eric. There are numerous downsides to many of the ex-pat locations but there are probably more downsides to being here. ugh
As to the “grey chest hair”:

Hi, I've just seen that this was 2019!
Gold! It means we could get an update from Steve Brule from 5 years later - HOPEFULLY!
Any chance of an updated video, or just brief comments from Steve?
Similarly, did you get the Philippines discussion back in 2019, or is that still coming up?
Yes, I could get a hold of Steve and ask for an update. The three men who have visited the Philippines went very recently so it will be new data!
Thanks so much, Tom!
Very much looking forward to both of these.
Me too. Maybe have all four at the same time?
pps, Tom.
A related topic for a follow up, hopefully with the all the crew here, would be whether the motivation for men to "Sexodus" has changed since 2019.
My perception in Australian is that our situation has changed very much for the worse, with almost no mitigating factors.
As could have been predicted.
It gets more urgent with each passing month.
Yes, I agree things seem much worse now than in 2019. It is amazing how male hate is simply tolerated.
Please don't link to youtube. They shadowbanned me years ago. My preference is to use substack.
OK. Yah... youtube and google are horrific with shadowbans.
Thanks Stephen.
Great discussion!
