I loved the movie. It is a nonstop critical analysis of the feminist in every length, breadth and width. And it does so in much the same way as the great charlie chaplin did presenting himself as world leader. The famous monolog by a woman named America, is darn good at sowing up the malaise of the modern woman, and lets face it, life for Her socks. This is double stitched into the fabric of modern womanhood in her daughters hosing down of all things pedestrian stepping on Barbie's real life walk into the feminized idea of the real world, an ill-fitting boot topped with bunions of dissatifacted tween girls. From knitting sweaters to knitting eyebrows you've come a long way babe.

If you remember the song which heralded the end of rock and roll as a music for couples to dance together, it was called "Rock And Roll Will Never Die", well Barbie is the theatrical equivalent of the sound that a cutural alarm makes when the gig is up and as Professoress En Laude said, The Emperess ' new wardrobe is going to leave her a bit cold. Hearts will grow tired of cold and feminism, will be replaced with good socks, warm feet, and love and laughter. The Barbie movie is Gabriel's trumpet and those who long for love will hear it and dance with abandon.

Agree that the movie, when watched through the lens of the red pill is actually very condemning of modern women and feminism. However, most people can't see it. They are totally blind to it and applaud the narrative they have been entranced with and swallowed whole.

I loved the part of the movie where Ken looked at Barbie and screamed "You did this to me." She doesn't get it and moves on.....

Very interesting analysis. I haven’t seen it. It seems to be a rehabilitation of “Barbie” in that here in the UK (possibly not in the USA) for many years Barbie was on the feminists’ hit list because she supposedly reinforced all the body shaming, impossibly attractive appearance obsessed neuroses supposedly imposed on girls by “the patriarchy”. Somehow she’s become a feminist “icon” .. blond, tall, thin and shaped perfectly to fit fashion. I clearly missed something in the last decade??? As the result would appear to be more money for Mattel and the fashion and beauty industry. I can understand those who regard it as satire. For of course there is something very adolescent about the idea that you can have all manner of jobs so long as you wear the right outfit. The absence of anyone with the real jobs that would be required to exist to build, maintain and improve Barbie land, which is really true of feminists who seem oblivious of how and who creates the material world they live in. A world of “magic” without stairs or lifts or walls or heating . Without any actual hard work or study and you can somehow be President by wearing a nice dress and a sash.

When they visit the the “patriarchy” they visit a real world and of course the one that creates and maintains Barbieland as well as everything else. Then its back to a fantasy. The other thing I’ve noticed is that the “star” , i.e. the one most talked about and touted for awards is “Ken” Ryan Gosling, apparently because his character goes through a dramatic arc unlike any of the Barbies.

Reminds me so much of Melanie Philips, observation that so much of feminism is simply about adolescent girls , no matter their chronological age.

Know why there's no pregnant Barbie?

Because Ken comes in a separate box.

Both of you are true heroes to have sat through the torture of watching that trash so you could report on it. Thank you. I don't know where you guys find the strength of character to endure such things. Amazing.

When they remake 'The Wizard of Oz' as woke feminist doggerel, Barbie could replace the Scarecrow.

🎼 I would not be just a muffin',

I'd be ready for stuffin',

A supercilious thot;

And my pubes I'd be a scratchin'

While the crabs were busy hatchin'

If I only had a twat 🎶

"You fascist!" After silencing the one tablemate who dared to express a differing opinion, this scene with a collective of teenaged feminists who know more about life than they ever will ends with the standard argument employed in feminist discourse
