Good time to shut down the Department of Labor!

Yeah, feminists have difficult times for the lack of compassion for the fate of men.

One funny reply was ' well, the men choose those kind of jobs'.

Well, someone has to do this kind of jobs. Women won't do it, because they are dangerous, inconvenient, and sometimes lethal. Women have never replaced men on the working scene. They only cherry-picked the jobs. And I would not blame them for it.

But the funny part is, when you think it further, any DIE-measure is obsolete by this feminist reply. Because when the occupation is someone's choice, then you cannot argue for quotas.

So hole in the foot I would say.

"Dangerous jobs"

"The adrenal rush" until I reflected on my behaviour, did I realise I was seeking the adrenal rush that comes with doing something risky? So, I wonder if the men who are undertaking the dangerous jobs are seeking the adrenal rush.

One of the businesses with the highest gender pay gap last year in Australia was Finch, a women's swimwear company.

That's hilarious. Do you have a link that goes into that? I briefly looked and couldn't find anything.

Sorry, it was Seafolly, same story though. Apparently it is surprising that the handful of IT and accounts people that are men get paid more than retail staff.

Latest data just came out. This page has a list of examples of businesses with majority female staff and massive gender pay gaps.

Here is another recent example of society’s total disregard of men:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9HTM9JBBO4

Nicki Glaser in her monologue during the 82nd Golden Globes show was very sexist. She generally praised women in the audience while making fun of or putting down the men. Here are some of her "funny" insults of men:

Ben Affleck yells "Wicked, "Queer," "Nightbitch" during orgasms.

Items found in RFK's freezer: the bear, the penguin, baby reindeer.

Martin Short is in the audience because there are cameras in the room.

Timothee Chalamet has nice eyelashes on his upper lip.

Keith Urban's guitar playing encouraged Nicole Kidman to get out of the house and make movies.

All criminals are men.

Of course, there were no comparable insults or jokes about women. This seems to be a pattern. It seems like every female comedian only seems to denigrate and insult men. Sure, male comedians will ocasionally insult women, but in my experience, there seems to be huge imbalance in the "funny" gender-based insults.

I think this leads to the further dehumanizing of men, which leads to less regard for them.

Key findings into suicide were that men succeeded at suicide in nearly all attempts women failed suicide. Men used lethal methods while women used less than successful

So what? Do you want to imply that women are incompetent?

Does this fact change anything about men's higher suicide rate by factor 3-4 ?

And after divorce, the rate goes up to 10:1, I heard.

(if someone has the source about the 10:1 figure, I would be grateful if he/she can provide it, I never found it)

While it is true that women use lethal means less often than men in attempting suicide the actual numbers are not that far off. Last I checked men used lethal means (firearms, hanging) in about 79% of attempts while women used the same lethal means in about 51% of their attempts. This should indicate a slightly higher death rate for males but in no way indicates a 3x or sometimes 4x difference.

People who rely on this idea of men being more likely to die by suicide due to their use of lethal means are at best poorly informed. It is likely that they simply are having a hard time mustering some compassion for the plight of men.

Gynocentrism? Say it ain't so. It's actually worse than you state. It's not just that male "suffering" is ignored so the focus can be put on women's "suffering"....but any attempt to mention the male component is immediately attacked as if it were an "assault" on women by taking attention away from THEIR suffering. So...if 10 times as many men are dying than women...heaven forbid that those 10 men get any attention because the 1 woman's needs must not be ignored or minimized. Frankly...its the princess mentality that women seem to apply to themselves.

This had been happening in Australia for a fair while, especially when it it reported by the fourth estate.
