And regarding the Selective Service, i.e., registering for the draft, the law was changed last year with enactment of the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), signed into law in December 2025. Now, instead of actively registering, young menwill be "automatically" registered when they turn 18.

Significantly, when Congress updated the registration system they could have expanded it to cover men and women, but decided to continue the systemic sexism.

David Stanley Lavery's avatar

How many feminists complained about that discrimination, they say men are privileged and they say they want equality so why don't feminists demand equality registering for the draft.

David Stanley Lavery's avatar

liabilities or not women deserve the privilege they insist men have, they should be sent to the battlefields and it would maybe stop them complaining about male privilege.

and all those men have moms. And dads.

Hilary Clinton said women are most affected by war because they lose their husbands and sons.

David Stanley Lavery's avatar

what if women were sent to fight in a war, while men stayed home accusing them of being privileged, H Clinton is a sexist pig.

Women are highly stressed by a man at rest on the sofa.

What awful creatures!

God can be cruel.

Interesting that someone who would consider themselves feminist ( when it’s convenient?) has zero concern for the mothers and wives of other countries that she pillages and whose citizens she helps kill. And where are these womens voices for all the little girls aborted because they are girls in India etc.

Janice's avatar

I thought the feminists stacks were bad for females complaining bitterly about men and endlessly blaming and bashing them for everything eg Epstein files but this stack seems to be the male equivalent. And that’s a disappointment.

DouglasEW's avatar

Where are you seeing women being blamed and bashed? Just have a re-read of this article, for example, and you will see that Tom is talking of people in general - not just women - who favour women. It is a human condition. Nobody is bashing women. There is implied criticism of the systems that favour women without giving men any favours but (as we are often reminded) it is men who are the majority in such systems.

Conrad Riker's avatar

That'd be meminism.

The equal and opposite reaction.

Lincoln’s letter to Lydia Bixby who lost sons in the civil war....Rudyard Kiplings son Jack, whom he forced to go, was only 18 when he was killed at Loos WWI. Vera Brittain Testament of Youth fame wrote of losing the man she loved in that war too...I’m not sure women suffer more though because those husbands and sons endure horrors beyond words and often suffer endlessly unless they find healing..we have to work together to end all this horror this blood sacrifice to moloch and baal.

Conrad Riker's avatar

Women are disgusted by a weak man.

They evolved as war brides to immediately imprint on the new conquerors as bas boys.

Alpha windowing is inhibited by a fallen patriarch.

Gamma bias.

Birkenhead protocol.

Most men in history did not reproduce, they were the slaves and soldiers.

Men would be vigilant if walking about with a bundle of cash. Women are vigilant as they walk around with a baby maker and golden vagina.

Vagina is Latin for scabbard, i.e. a sword sheath.

The women who were overt and truthful did not pass their genes on in sufficient numbers. The deceitful women acquired beta male resources and alpha male genetics.

Today, state sponsored gamma bias protects and validates womens deceit of mass paternity discrepancy.

One third of women have killed a child.

One third of court ordered paternity tests come back negative.

Women have majority Suffrage and votes for more taxes because only men are net tax payers as a group and only women are net lifetime welfare recipients as a group.

The central pillar of the welfare industrial complex is child support. Enforced by an unconstitutional court applying an unconscionable contract. The state pays women to discard men, retaining sexual access to his wallet, while reserving her vagina for other men.

Several billion children have been killed by their mothers since infanticide was legalized around 1970 and pushed globally.

Women show no contrition or repentance.

Janice's avatar

Didn’t those one third and several billion babies killed by their mothers have fathers? Noticeably absent? Kissinger, the de pop king, is responsible for a lot of this actually including over four hundred million forced abortions in China. De pop and second wave feminism are massive psy ops for, and from, the globalists. All the real conspiracy theories germ gene virus that supports vaxx theory and Freudianism claptrap helps sustain it all including trans theory. Not to mention Darwin bringing up the rear. These real conspiracy theories are simple to see because they all lead to nihilism. Divorce etc is a direct result from all this, the charge being led by CIA asset, and false prophetess, Gloria Steinem. By the way stats can be massaged to produce any outcome one wants. It was one of Churchill’s, another globalist and lover of the Great Game, fav tools to con the public with. One third of women in the USA have been sexually abused. Add that to your stat list. Eve was a remarkable, wise woman and did what was essential to get you here. American Military men have the biggest reputation for financial abuse of their wives. It is rampant. And I am very well acquainted with it. I know of one woman married for 36 years five children that let the ex keep it all. And there was a fat purse. He loved money above everything else so she allowed him to keep it. All. I would say, on the whole, that we have created this mess together. No Shiva without Shakti.

James Wills's avatar

Women have beat the drum for "equality" my entire life - and of course, well before that - so perhaps, while taking into account real sex differences, there should be what Bill Maher might call, "new rules."

1) If the US military draft is revived, then make it universal:

- both men and women

- exceptions for pregnancy or with children

- no combat roles for women in areas where direct physical confrontation is likely, i.e. infantry. Anything else is on the table - pilot, sailor, etc.

2) Complete revamping of all "family law" in all states

- since the marriage contract is just that, breaking it requires demonstration of fault - i.e., eliminate no-fault divorce. Infidelity, financial profligacy, abuse, etc. are grounds. Whoever files bears the burden of proving fault.

- no automatic preference for either parent in child custody

- automatic DNA testing of all newborns, with failure automatic grounds for divorce

- adopt Virginia's family law on assets: any asset that you did not actively manage during the marriage, whether passively managed (i.e. index funds) or managed by third party, remains with that partner in divorce. (That one is near and dear to my divorced little heart, LOL)

Do these things and men will start taking on marriage again. Fail to do so, and the consequences are left to the reader to calculate.

Will Whitman's avatar

The phrase “But the women and children!" carries obvious moral weight because they are weaker and more vulnerable. This means they require defense - by men. And from an evolutionary perspective it is those mothers who will carry on the future generations.

There was an interview series of soldiers before going into battle in Korea. They had accepted that they could die. What bothered them was the possibility of never becoming fathers. I think it says a lot when fatherhood itself today can be dismissed as optional.

Michael McVeigh's avatar

Unfortunately, it's as simple as it's irrevocable.

Biology drives culture & culture drives politics.

The very simple fact is that women are born with circa 300 eggs while men produce 250,000 a pop.

Women are biologically precious and homo sapiens has evolved to treat them as such. That's why protecting women feels natural.

Many MRAs are trying to swing the pendulum the other way, but is an uphill task.

I salute Tom for his mighty efforts.

In my 20s, I was keen to discover what it meant to belong to the gender that feminists claimed was oppressing the female gender.

There was always a feeling that something was not quite correct about the claims feminists were making

.

Why Men Are the Way They Are (1986): I eagerly read this book, only it was convoluted and obtuse in its coverage of Issues that men experience. I thought it was a foundation for further in-depth exploration of the issues men were experiencing.

Most importantly, Farrell admitted that he finally started to hear what men were saying.

At the time, I thought that men would learn to identify and, more importantly, articulate the issues they were experiencing.

Little did I realise that the feminist overseers want only approved feminist approaches to men's groups awareness and consciousness raising exercise, comparing notes on how badly the female gender was treating them was not encouraged and actively discouraged.

The identification of female abusers was effectively shut down in the public sphere, as Erin Pizzey and other honest researchers into Domestic Violence found out.

The captain of the Titanic went down with his ship, into the freezing waters or the North Atlantic.

His crew had opened fire to prevent men occupying partially empty life boats.

Yet, women preferred a story of a whore, throwing away her wealth into the sea, because she was pining for an alpha bad boy from third class who widowed her sexually. While she rejected a decent man because he didn't make her lady parts quiver.

Adultery means corruption.

Adultresses are stoned in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, because it's a metaphor for the community providing external moral guidance and direction to preserve female virtue.

Today, one in eight young women in the US are on OnlyFans. Marriagable maidens go to university as batchelors to ride the cock carousel and be indoctrinated with bolshevism and critical Marxism, Postmodernism, and feminism.

They graduate to the Satanic path of abortions as blood sacrifice sacraments in exchange for an apartment, discrimination hiring into an adult say care eMail job, and a cat to act as familiar and give t plasmosis brain parasite.

Eve did this in the garden.

The only cure for feminism is defenstration.

Feminismus delendus est.

WOMEN ARE PRIVILEGED, THEY SAY THEY WANT EQUALITY BUT THEY DONT DEMAND TO BE TREATED AS BADLY AS MEN ARE.

Conrad Riker's avatar

Privilege is from private law.

Women have their own laws, e.g. sex sentencing disparity is 63% compared to black disparity of 10%.

Gamma bias is by far the strongest collection of biases (alpha plus beta bias) that sociologists measure but the feminists, critical Marxist theorists, and Postmodernists lap it up and apply a double bind to protect it.

A few years ago I fulfilled a part of my bucket list: just by serendipity (and some sketchy folks I knew): I ran a camera on a porn shoot. It really gave me a different point of view: the "actors" and crew turned out to be universally really nice people, some with children (obviously not on-set), funny and fun. We had dinners together; overall it was great experience.

The one thing I did notice, though, was that they were doing something generally outlawed: selling sex. Perfectly legally.

And now, with OnlyFools, EVERYBODY can sell sex. Why can you do it that way, but not truck on down to your local brothel for an afternoon of slap-and-tickle? I finally decided it was a question of union-busting. It simply codifies the wife's lock on sex - or the lack thereof. To wit: No-you-can't-have-any-and-you-can't-get-it-anywhere-else. And since these laws were passed a long time ago - by men - my son's phrase is operative - "Boys, it's ICBM. I cock-blocked myself."

Janice's avatar

Adulterers were also stoned in Mosaic law. So were winebibber gluttonous rebellious sons.

James Wills's avatar

Winebibber. Now THAT's a great word. I'm stealing it.

I believe that John Adams disowned his whoremongering winebibbing son, if I'm not mistaken.

Janice's avatar

Yes he did. Not sure about the sons whore mongering part though.

James Wills's avatar

I'm a big history buff and live about 20 leagues from Mr. Jefferson's Town and Mr. Jefferson's School. I saw a great biopic of Adams on PBS decades ago. The scene where he disowns his son is disturbing to this day. Things were so very different in those days; being disowned was an unrecoverable blow. You were entirely on your own, as if you'd been born in the woods to wolves. No access to family money or help of any kind. A bit like being banished in the olden days - maybe not a death sentence like then, but bad enough....

Janice's avatar

Doesn’t the same go for a public penis? Lounge lizard culture?

In response to a feminist post of F/B, I asked the question, "If men have all the power, why do women make the Rules?" To say the least, the responses were very hostile.

Looking for examples to support the above supposition, I totally forgot about the book title "The Rules.

After being tarred and feathered, keelhauled, figuratively castrated and labelled a Neanderthal and that I am crazy and in need of some therapy. Below is a summary of my response.

“The Rules” was a book written by two women, Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider first published in 1995.

Quote<“ The book suggests gendered dating rules that a woman should follow in order to attract and marry the man of her dreams; these rules include that a woman should be "easy to be with but hard to get".[3] The underlying philosophy of The Rules is that women should not aggressively pursue men, but rather, should encourage the men to pursue them.>Unquote.

Three years later, in 1998, Jack Kammer asked this question.“If men have all the Power, how come women make the rules?”

That question was asked by Kammer, and, in an attempt to explore the issue, he wrote and published a book titled after it.

It is clear from the responses that it was very triggering for some people.

The book was labelled as a Conspiracy and Misogynistic by Eric Keenlyside.

Eileen Tenore wrote, “Get some therapy now. Before you escalate”.

Chrystal Shaffer wrote, “I love it when the low IQ Neanderthals crawl out of their dumpster fires A. you provide so much entertainment”.

L B Ammon wrote, “people who say this usually mean something like "why don't I have unrestricted access to a woman's body?". Is that what you mean?”

The above personal attacks demonstrate not only bullying but total intolerance to exploring alternative ideas or concepts that may challenge existing belief systems.

The main problem with 'women and children first' is that women have applied it in that order...

On the Titanic 74% of the women survived, but only 52% of the children. And 20% of the men. The men prioritised the women and children, the women did not do the same.

Here is Australia that mentality is still found in emergencies, from the response to Cyclone Tracy to the evacuation of Wuhan.

Yvonne Elizabeth Aston's avatar

If 20 women and two men escape a cataclysm, there is a genuine ability to restart the human race. If twenty men and only two women survive a cataclysm there is little chance of rebuilding a society. Women are not important because they are privileged. They are important because it takes nine months to produce a child from a mating. In primitive societies death of infant and or mother was often the outcome of a pregnancy. Therefore women and children first is a survival strategy. The more women you can save the better with regard to their breeding capabilities. One man can literally father over a hundred children. One woman can only produce a child every 12 months at best. It is not only courtesy that puts the survival of women in numbers before the survival of men.

Tom Golden's avatar

This is a view that many take but it fails to factor in the need for men to protect. In the hunter gatherer cultures the men were critical to keep their group safe and especially keep the women safe. Why? Because the invading groups were trying to steal their women! So both men and women are needed for survival. If you are interested in this the Geary book Male Female goes into great detail about the number of men killed by attacks. In one group is was over 50% of men killed. The women were attracted to the most ferocious of the men. The more intruders a man killed the more wives he had. lol

Orr's avatar

"Therefore women and children first is a survival strategy."

That may be true in small tribal groups under constant threat of extinction, but it's completely irrelevant in the highly populated modern world. It no longer serves any purpose, it's just female privilege.

Yvonne Elizabeth Aston's avatar

I hate to say this but within us all is that instinct to ensure that the tribe survives. Yes, even today when we think ourselves so civilised and sociable. I had three brothers. My elder brother gave me books, pieces of poetry and generally kept an eye on me. He was very aware of his friends and warned them off me and me off them. My younger brother was delightful and took me out and we had great times together, again he didn’t appreciate anyone he didn’t know or like joining our company. It was their inborn instinct to look after me and my sisters. To preserve us. Why do you think that neighbouring tribes stole the women? To make their own tribe stronger and more populous. Is it really a privilege to spend nine months starting with morning sickness, going on to swelling uncomfortably to culminate in pain and sometimes death to bring forth another human being. Maternity is portrayed as wonderful and for many women it is but that is actually a hormonally created calm before the storm. Nowadays women don’t have to conceive and bear children or be accounted useless thank goodness but that primal instinct to enlarge the tribe, to extend your own bloodlines into the future still exists. It’s not privileged, it’s not cultural, it is a basic instinct to use women as breeding stock. Nobody wanted a barren woman in ancient times. The attitude of society toward childless couples may have changed but that ‘privilege’ of being a woman had never been for her benefit but for the furtherance of the tribe, whether that tribe be family or race. Many women were necessary to mate with rulers and war lords because so many women or their infants died through childbirth. As individuals not many women had any influence or autonomy. It is the modern ability for women to choose their own paths that men fear and dislike. The in built basic belief is that women are primarily human broodmares and this modern change challenges ancient instinct.

Towards the proper balance is the 'conscription' of pregnant women of motherhood, of bringing the unborn to birth. I saw 'towards' because in most cases it is after a voluntary act she personally choses, unlike conscription of men.

The 1973 ruling that prioritized bodily choice over the life of another should apply to men and conscription, and although that is not likely to happen or maybe even prudent - once - undending wars is stopped and Satan removed from gov and societies control, but until then it should be clearly stated as justification of 'draft dodgers' and pardons and social acceptence of such as those that moved to Canada during the 1960s and early 1970s to aviod that war.

God Bless., Steve
