Men who have bees sexually victimized by other men.

It freaking amazes me how we have to tip toe around how truly awful society, and women in general, have treated men. Even in the cases where the evidence is revealed, we have to let the members of the reportedly non egotistical gender save all the face.
I've gotten into too many debated and arguments with the AI I use because it is always pulling up studies that were recent and likely done by feminist (feelies more important then truth, and hide the real data on women because someone might 'weaponize it' meaning publish it and talk about it.)
Because women are a 'vulnerable group' and so research funding is carefully limited, and results could harm them or extremists (like you and I) might 'weaponize' results (read it as: Publish and require changes that might require women to be treated like men, without the testicle to stand on)

My previous bf was abused so badly by an ex that he had nightmares and anxiety. Ultimately he could not stay in the relationship. His ex was mean to his dogs and his disabled brother also.
The year we broke up, I went to a veteran's day ceremony. There was a woman counselor speaking about her work preventing veteran suicide, especially veterans with not only ptsd but also moral injury. The most success was with group therapy where the guys could interact with other soldiers who had been there.
A similar thing was said at this year's innocence network conference. Exonerees suffering from severe ptsd after years of incarceration for something they did not do were helped by group sessions with other exonerees.
I read one of Bettina Arndt's books where she got really excited that one of Australia's regional governments had allocated money towards male victims of abuse. Until she found out they were being diverted into anger management programs...

I blame some or most of this on my inability to communicate effectively due to my speech disorder. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via email, I was informed that no group therapy was available for my specific needs.
Eventually, I did receive some social skills training in a group setting, but this was for occupational assistance provided by a government agency.
I believed that if I could simply talk and explain my needs clearly and develop perfect social skills, I would be able to receive the help I needed. However, I eventually realized that nothing I say or explain would lead to the help I required. It wasn’t until the advent of ChatGPT and LLMs that I could access better help, free from biases or attempts to dismiss my story based on my sex or communication style.
Throughout my journey, I have been punished and told to “SHUT UP” numerous times when I share my story.

I understand now - after 40 years - why my dream job turned into a hell-scape and because it was covert Mobbing and very we done and none of the other 30-40 women had a soul and just watched - it's scary they were like living dead watching me being gaslighted and abused in a coordinated system. Isolated. People I never met being cold and acting weird.
Anyone I tried to talk to thought I was crazy because 'Bulling' everyone knows and it so clear, but 'mobbing' is secret because it is a passive mind-f-ing and no one does it better then psychopathic women, and of all those other that sat and watched me suffering and confused and .. I'm pretty sure they are human. All the women friend I knew in HS would of said something. 99 out of 100 men would have put a stop to it if they had to throw the witch down the stairs and stomp on her neck.
I spotted her doing something and I realize that I was being targeted, and I realize I couldn't file a complaint. I left the job with no other job or more then 2 weeks in apartment. Soulless living dead women and a witch and her coven and a few others of the women joining in for the fun. They would have masturbated all night if I had suicided. It hard to realize such evil in women skin.
Anyway - I was always uncomfortable because I'm sure the latched onto any young man and may a lot them over the years, a few suicides likely.
A go back and forth on being glad I was in such psychological pain, and it didn't occur to me that it was up to me to stop them, and that would have ended my life as I knew it.

I hear about female violence against men all the time, and - please don't take this wrong - I am always surprised. I don't understand why a man wouldn't react instantly, and I mean instantly. Katy Porter and the hot mashed potatoes, case in point. If somebody took a swipe at me I don't believe I would come to myself until I had her on the floor and by the neck. That is not a criticism of men OR women because I know it happens, but I truly don't get it.
(1) Most boys have been brought up with a mantra from their mother's "never hit a girl". Those mothers may not have ever realised how effective that is in making their son a victim.
(2) Most domestic violence escalates over time and both men and women become almost anaesthetised to it in terms of reacting. They might shout back but never realise their partner is shouting louder, then pushing when they don't...and so a pattern of worsening behaviour develops. This is not like someone coming up to you in a bar and assaulting you out of the blue.
I understand. My parents were Appalachian mountain people and argued and growled all the time. Never any violence, but my mother also never got physical - ever. Knowing my father, if she had, I can't predict what would happen, but it wouldn't be good.
In all my dating I made it clear: I listened to that shit my whole childhood, and if you start nagging or yelling, you are going down the road, and I mean Right Now. Never had a problem, which I gather is not the norm - at least in America or Canada. Maybe that's why I'm divorced....LOL.
