Watching these stories brings one to a rather troubling question. How much of the "domestic violence" against women is actually justified response to the conduct of the women? The more I learn about these issues the more I begin to see that maybe Muslim Sharia Law and The Handmaid's Tale may have a bit of a point in how women should be treated given the conduct of a significant number present.
Indeed. I have been wondering about women's use of relational aggression and how this is a trigger. Way back in the 1980's there was a battle between the family therapists and the feminists about how to treat DV. The therapists said outside of sociopathy to treat it in a psychological manner....but the feminists blew up and claimed this would endanger women and their nastiness and volume won the day. But I wonder now if maybe they were right, it might have endangered women's unseen relationally aggressive tactics?
Wow what a powerful film, we need more to drive home the message that men are victims too, often silent but suffering just as much …..and then there’s the children.
There are all sorts of reasons and the documentary goes into quite a few. Men will often see leaving a relationship as a failure and something to be avoided, they will realize there is no help for them, they know that they face her potential to get the police involved and on and on.
I guess I’m just older now and see things so differently for I wouldn’t stay with ANYONE who even thought about treating me like that.
There are approximately 4 Billion other females on the planet to choose from; these men are operating from a ‘scarcity’ mindset that is completely detrimental to their happiness.

Bingo...what feminists fear is NOT that men will abuse women but that women will lose the power to abuse and manipulate men.
Thanks for highlighting this excellent video!
Absolutely Ed. This one is a potent voice about men and DV.
Yes! We’re getting excited about Men’s Equality Month in November!! 😎

Tom, could you shed some light on some of the reasons WHY IN THE WORLD do men stay with these perpetrators???
Many are not even married, no kids and no commitment!!
I’m embarrassed for them…

If only they could see…
