Good to hear that boys are encouraged to play rough as opposed to play with, say, dolls. I am reminded of the Middle Ages and the custom of the joust, a game--certainly rough and tumble--that helped knights train for combat. Every skill the joust engaged was useful in battle. Rough and tumble play for boys is, likewise, good training. Let's hope is helps them realize that they need to be on guard, prepared for combat in many forms, and determined to win. They get plenty of instruction on how to play "nice." Very fine video, for which thanks, Tom!
